Pricing & earnings

Price your agent with a one-time price, a per-run royalty or both, and see how much you keep.

As a Builder, you set the price of each agent you list in the Agent Store, and you earn credits when Users install or run it. You set the price in the Pricing box of the Publish to Agent Store dialog.

Free

Leave both One-Time Price and Per-Run Royalty at 0. Users install the agent for free and pay only for their own runs. Free agents are listed right away.

One-Time Price

Users pay a fixed number of credits once, when they install the agent, and keep it for good.

  • Good for well-defined tools that Users run now and then.
  • Shows as Purchase in your earnings history.
  • A platform commission of 20% is taken from each one-time purchase; the rest goes to your Builder wallet. The Publishing Info box in the dialog shows the commission.
  • If you raise the price later, Users who bought earlier pay only the difference to start conversations on your newer version.

Per-Run Royalty

Each time a User runs your agent, they pay a percentage of that run's cost on top, and it goes to you.

  • Good for agents Users run often: your income grows with use.
  • Shows as Royalty in your earnings history.
  • The royalty also applies when a User runs your agent as an agent flow inside their own workflow.
  • A User keeps the royalty rate that applied when they installed the agent.

You can set both: a one-time price to install and a royalty on each run. The box under the prices sums it up, for example "… credits to purchase + …% per run". A paid agent goes through review before it is listed.

How your earnings are counted

Your earnings go to your Builder wallet and show on the Builder Dashboard. Each line of the earnings history shows the agent, the type (Purchase or Royalty), Your Earnings (what you keep) and the date; Purchase rows also show the commission taken.

Limits

  • Lowest paid price: 1 credit.
  • Highest price: 10,000 credits.
  • Per-Run Royalty: up to 50%.
Tip:

Earn more. Agents with clear descriptions, relevant tags and good ratings are easier to find in the store. Use a royalty for agents Users run every day, and a one-time price for specialised tools.

Common problems

Minimum paid price

A paid price must be at least the lowest paid price above. Enter 0 for a free agent.

Per-run royalty must be between …

The royalty is outside the allowed range. Enter a percentage between 0 and the highest royalty above.

My agent isn't live yet

Paid agents are reviewed before they are listed. The listing button in the canvas's top bar shows Pending review until then.
