Home and the app bar
Home shows what needs you, where you left off and what ran lately. The app bar takes you anywhere, finds anything and creates something new.
Home is the first page after you sign in. It greets you, shows what needs you, where you left off, what ran lately and what runs next. The app bar along the top of every page takes you to the rest of the app.
Home
At the top, Home greets you by name. The line under the greeting says how many things need you (or Everything is running.) and how many runs are going right now.
Describe what you want
Under the greeting is a box where you describe something you want automated, for example "every Monday, summarise new leads from my sales inbox and post it to Slack".
- Click Create workflow (or press Ctrl+Enter, or ⌘+Enter on a Mac) and Describe to Create starts building the workflow from your text straight away. See Describe to Create.
- Click Start blank to open an empty canvas instead.
Needs you
Needs you lists what is waiting for you, with how many there are. Each item says what happened, where, and when, and has a button for what to do:
| Item | Button | Where it takes you |
|---|---|---|
| Things an agent or workflow learned are waiting for you | Review | The agent's Settings tab, or the workflow's canvas |
| A scheduled, webhook, app event or room run failed (with "failed 3 times" when it failed more than once) | Open for an agent, Fix for a workflow | The agent's History tab, or the workflow's canvas |
| An app needs reconnecting | Reconnect | The Connections page |
| A room's round is done and it is your turn, or a turn failed and the room is paused | Open room | The room |
| Someone asks to use one of your Shared agents | Review | The agent's Store listing, with its access requests open |
Click Dismiss to hide an item. An item goes away by itself once it is sorted out, for example when the app is reconnected or the request is answered.
When the list is long, Home shows the first few items and Show all opens the rest (Show fewer folds them away). When nothing is waiting, it says Nothing needs you. Failed runs and things to review show up here.
The bell in the app bar lists the same items. See The bell.
Pick up where you left off
Pick up where you left off shows cards for what you used last: workflows (when you edited them and how many neurons they have), agents (which setup, and when it ran), rooms (which round, and whether it is waiting for you, running, paused or ended) and dashboards (when they were updated). A dot on a card means it is running now. Click a card to open it.
Recent runs
Recent runs lists your latest runs: the time, the name, the result, how it started (Schedule, Webhook, App event, By hand or Room) and what it cost. Use the tabs All, Workflows, Agents and Rooms to show one kind. A run that is still going shows Running…. Click a run to open its workflow, its agent's history or its room. All runs in Usage opens the full list on the Usage page. See Credits & usage.
Credits, Coming up and dashboards
On the side of Home:
- Get started: the checklist for your first workflow, until all its steps are done. See Getting started.
- Credits: your balance, about how long it lasts at the pace of the last 7 days, and a small chart of what you used each day of the Last 7 days. Usage opens the Usage page, and Add credits lets you buy more.
- Coming up: the next scheduled runs of your workflows and agents, with the time, the day and how often they repeat (or Once).
- Pinned dashboards: the dashboards you pinned. When you have pinned none, this shows Dashboards: the ones updated most recently. All opens the Dashboards page. See Dashboards.
When your balance is low, a Low credits banner shows above the greeting. Click it to add credits.
A new account
Before you have any workflows or agents, Home says Let's build your first automation. and shows Two ways to start:
- Build a workflow: opens an empty canvas, where you put neurons together. You can also describe it in the box above.
- Use a ready-made agent: opens the Agent Store, where you pick an agent, set it up once and run it whenever you need. See Agent Store.

- Library: Dashboards.
The account pages show an Account row (Profile, Connections, API keys, Secrets, and Admin for administrators), and the credit pages show a Credits row (Usage, Transactions, Add credits).
In a narrow window the tabs move into Menu (the menu button on the right), which lists Home, Automations and Library and the links under Automations and Library. Find anything becomes a search button.
